LOGO & POSTER FOR DEFINIENS’ ORTUS CONCERT

Definiens Chamber Group requested a concert logo for use on social media, and a poster for advertising at various schools and public spaces. I used the pronunciation of the word to create the logo, and then made the poster with a more primal feel in order to convey the idea of the tagline. The concert was funded by the LA County Arts Commission.

THE ONE AND ONLY IDENTITY (Cover)

I was asked to come up with an identity and program for a new opera that was written for the LA Festival of New Musicals, about a teenage cyclops girl in high school. The client wanted the logo to look campy and ‘comic book-y’.

YPCA CARNEGIE HALL POSTCARD

This is a postcard I made for a Carnegie Hall performance/debut. I used a script font to convey the kinetic energy of the music, and close ups of the instruments to convey a serious and reflective tone.

LOMA LINDA RONALD McDONALD HOUSE WINE TASTING PACKAGE

I was approached to design a ‘Save the Date’ card, an invite, and a ticket for this 2011 wine tasting event. It had to be ‘upscale,’ as it would be a fundraising event, and needed to have orange and brown in the design. There had been no previously set logo for the event, but the client asked that I integrate a sun into the design to reinforce the theme of the event (Under the Tuscan Sun).
